Three utility-scale solar projects will receive domestically manufactured PV modules as the company expands its role in the growing U.S. solar market
Greenville, North Carolina, 4 September 2026 – Solar power continues to move from an emerging energy option to an increasingly important part of the electricity landscape. Behind every large solar project, however, is a supply chain that must deliver reliable equipment at the right scale. Inox Solar Americas is taking a notable step in that direction with a new 767 MW solar module supply agreement.
The company has signed an agreement with a leading U.S. renewable energy developer and independent power producer to supply photovoltaic modules for three utility-scale solar projects. The projects, located across North Carolina and Texas, have capacities of approximately 71 MW, 102 MW, and 594 MW. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2027.
For Inox Solar Americas, the agreement represents more than a large order. It provides an opportunity to demonstrate that its U.S. manufacturing operations can support major solar projects while meeting growing expectations around product reliability, domestic content, supply chain visibility, and long-term performance.
The modules selected for the projects will come from the company’s Vega Series bifacial portfolio and use advanced N-type photovoltaic cells. Bifacial modules can generate electricity from sunlight reaching both sides of the panel, making them well suited to many large-scale solar installations.
The announcement also comes as the company builds its manufacturing presence in Greenville, North Carolina. Inox Solar Americas acquired U.S. solar manufacturing assets with 3 GW of annual module manufacturing capacity and plans for another 3 GW of annual cell manufacturing capacity expected to come online in 2027.
What makes this development particularly interesting is the emphasis on building a more localized solar supply chain. For developers, having access to domestically manufactured modules can provide greater visibility into sourcing, logistics, and project planning.
The 767 MW agreement therefore offers a glimpse into where the U.S. solar industry is heading: larger projects, advanced photovoltaic technology, and a stronger focus on reliable domestic manufacturing. As solar demand continues to grow, companies capable of combining technology with dependable production may become increasingly important to the industry’s next chapter.
